2019 Inc. 5000 List: Something is Happening in Central Ohio
When I received the 2019 Inc. 5000, the annual ranking of the top performing and growing companies in the U.S., with 37 of those firms located in Columbus, I was struck by just how collaborative and connected Columbus’ startup economy has become.
Two of the Inc. 5000 companies, Updox and Snapsheet are Rev1 portfolio companies. Updox, the leading CRM connectivity platform in the healthcare industry, achieved Top 5000 status for the fifth consecutive year.
Snapsheet, a pioneer in virtual claims solutions, made Inc. 5000 for the first time. In May, Snapsheet announced investment from State Auto Labs. In collaboration with Rev1 Ventures, State Auto Labs connects startups with capital, technologists, and insurance industry experts, as well as capital.
Vantage Point Logistics (VPL), a Rev1 Labs graduate, achieved its third consecutive Inc. 5000 ranking with a three-year growth rate of more than 300 percent. Additionally, VPL, which provides customer freight management services for healthcare and higher education clients, was recognized in 2019 as an Inc. Best Work-places. Fulfilling. Exciting. Rewarding. Supportive. These are some of the words employees used with Inc. to describe working at VPL.
ZoCo Design, a Rev1 vetted service provider, has provided invaluable marketing and branding expertise to multiple startups as well as corporates. With a three-year growth rate exceeding 250 percent, ZoCo achieves Inc. 5000 status for the first time.
Rev1 was created in partnership with the region’s corporate and community leaders to build an entrepreneurial hub. Together, we are putting Columbus on the map as one of the most active startup regions in the nation. Read more here.
