Dr. Carol Curtis helps entrepreneurs develop business plans that position startups to clear milestones and remove risk. Carol leverages her scientific and venture business background to communicate complex concepts – from molecular biology to term sheet conditions – in a way that is easy to understand.
Before joining Rev1, Carol was Vice President and Director of Investments for iMCI. Carol has provided business advice and venture investment analysis to more than 100 companies across multiple life sciences and tech-based industries.
Carol received her bachelor’s in biochemistry and her master’s and a doctorate in molecular and integrative physiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She spent four years as a postdoctoral researcher at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
