About Chase Seaver

Chase launched his fractional CFO practice, Art of Toil, in March 2024. Since then, he’s worked with pre- and post-revenue startup clients across a range of industries, helping them raise capital, construct financial models, build pitch decks, and conduct ad hoc analyses. He also assists with day to day matters such as budgeting and accounting oversight.

Prior to Art of Toil, Chase was the CFO for KNR Therapy, a pediatric therapy startup. He led the company through multiple capital raises, stood up GAAP accounting, and created their investor reporting. Before that, Chase was a divisional CFO for healthgrades.com. There, he helped the company raise a significant term loan, close two acquisitions, and move through a successful sale process. Chase began his career with stints in investment banking, equity research at a hedge fund, and financial planning and analysis in the e-commerce group of a Fortune 500 retailer. He holds an MS finance degree from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, a BA philosophy degree from Birmingham-Southern College, and is a CFA charterholder.
