Derek has over a decade of experience in tech, specializing in product management at growth-stage startups. At the heart of his work is a deep-seated belief in the power of technology to transform lives and improve communities. He currently works with the team building Alignable, a networking platform for small businesses, where he’s driving product adoption and engagement by enhancing the platform’s UX with generative AI. Prior to Alignable, he was the Head of Product at battleface, working with a team to pioneer new travel insurance products around the world.
