About Kristy Campbell

Kristy Campbell has spent most of her decades-long career working within venture-backed tech startups to grow revenue and organize effective teams for high-growth companies. In her 10 years with Rev1 Ventures, Kristy has been instrumental in the strategic vision of the organization, including building out the innovation programs which have supported nearly 1,500 innovators who have gone on to raise more than $2B in capital.

As President and Chief Operating Officer, Campbell manages the day-to-day operations of Rev1, while supporting the implementation of strategic growth areas, including the build-out of new services and innovation space for software startups and life science spinouts. She is dedicated to supporting Rev1’s mission of putting Columbus on the map as a place to start and scale startups – including closing the capital gap and continuing to address the maturing startup ecosystem in Central Ohio.

Before joining Rev1, Kristy served in leadership roles at Manta Media, where she helped scale the company into one of the U.S.’s most visited websites, as well as at Saama Technologies, a leader in Big Data and analytics.

Kristy holds a BS in Journalism from Ohio University and an MBA from Ashland University. She is a frequent speaker on startups, marketing, and inclusion topics and has been featured in top publications from Entrepreneur to Huffington Post, Axios and VentureBeat. She also serves on the advisory board for SureImpact, a social impact software platform.
