Central Ohio is home to a thriving startup community – ranked as the nation’s leader in the density of high-growth startups – as well as an active student population with more than 50 colleges and universities, and more than 130,000 graduate and undergraduate students.
Rev1’s innovation internship program brings students and startups together to create exciting opportunities for both.
The Innovation Internship Program:
- Connects diverse student talent with startups in Central Ohio.
- Provides an enriching experience for interns and developing connections that could lead to future career opportunities.
- Fosters entrepreneurship as a career path.

Q: Am I eligible to participate in this program?
A: The program is open to a wide student base, including those registered at or recent graduates from a technical or community college; incoming freshmen up to graduating seniors at four-year institutions; and masters or doctoral candidates in high-tech graduate studies. Students need to have an Ohio connection – meaning they attend a school based in Ohio, are an Ohio resident, or are willing to relocate to Ohio for the internship opportunity, if in-person is required.

A: Please visit our internship jobs board to view the open opportunities. You can apply to the positions of interest directly through the postings.
Q: Are these internships paid?
A: Yes, all opportunities through this program are paid. The exact wage amount is at the discretion of the hiring startup.
Q: When is this program available?
A: This program is accessible year-round. While many startups look for full-time talent during the summer months, many also need part-time interns during the academic year. All opportunities will be posted to our jobs board, as they are available. Because there is less demand during the academic year, there will not be a program cohort. However, students will still have access to 1:1 mentoring and Rev1 resources, if desired. Please contact Internships@rev1ventures.com, if you have questions.
Q: Is this program only available during the fall?

Q: By participating in this program, will I be an intern for Rev1 Ventures?
A: No. Rev1 Ventures is sponsoring this program on behalf of the startups we work with. While you will have access to Rev1 team members and resources, your direct work and internship experience will be with the startup that hired you.
